About Aurva
Aurva helps organisations understand the data security posture, and limit the access to data by providing granular access controls and also provides Data Governance and Access Management at the Database layer.
My Role
In January 2024, I was hired as a Lead Product Designer at Aurva. I am responsible for crafting delightful user experiences and building and maintaining the internal design system.

Holistic & Table View
In general, the sensitive data is randomly distributed throughout the databases without any proper naming conventions. To provide a quick holistic view of how the data is organised in the environment, we designed the path view flow.
General Settings
For a long time, we did not have a general settings page where users could perform common actions like scheduling scans for all databases, inviting users, creating tags, and more. Therefore, we designed a general settings page to enable these actions across different modules.
Dashboard
As a security company, having a comprehensive dashboard is crucial for presenting data to users for quick understanding. After joining, I worked on several dashboard designs that helped users further analyse their data environment.
Website & Branding
Yes, the website you see at https://www.aurva.io/ was designed by me in Figma and developed in Framer. Not only the website, but also all the illustrations, animations, and visual assets you encounter are a result of my efforts. During development, we also focused on minimising the website's loading time as much as possible.
To ensure future changes are easily implementable, we developed a branding style guide and principles specifically for Aurva's visual identity.
